It’s that exciting time of year again: our corn maze will soon be opening next month! Open September 3rd through November 2nd, our 6.5-acre corn maze is free to kids two and under, and just $10 per person for everyone else. You can also purchase tickets for groups of 15 or more and get $1 off per person. Sorry, but dogs are not allowed in the maze.

Hours are 10am to last entry at 5pm, Monday-Saturday and 12pm to last entry at 5pm on Sundays. Each year, we unveil a new maze design. Our 2024 maze celebrates 75 years of Peanuts, featuring Charlie Brown and a pumpkin!

Top Educational Benefits of Local Corn Mazes

Sure, corn mazes are lots of fun for the whole family, but did you know they offer much more than that? Check out the top educational benefits of attending a local corn maze with the whole family. Corn mazes:

1. Encourage Problem-Solving

Navigating a corn maze enhances critical thinking, map reading, and problem-solving skills. Kids are learning much more than they think when trying to get through a corn maze. They are forced to think critically about how to best get from point A to point B, using creativity and persistence skills to solve the puzzle.

2. Build Communication Skills and Cooperation

Children can hone their communication skills, including how to listen and follow directions, when navigating corn mazes. They develop these skills because they must work with friends or family members to reach one common goal: exiting the maze without getting lost.

3. Promote Outdoor Exploration

It can be exciting to explore unfamiliar environments, especially if there is a surprise at the end (such as a rock wall or hayride). Kids can further observe their surroundings and explore new terrain, and because many corn mazes are often set up on farms, kids can also get a chance to learn where their food comes from and meaningfully connect with nature.
