On June 3, gather round with all your friends and enjoy a few pints of hard or regular cider. That’s because June 3 is World Cider Day, an international declaration of love for this popular drink. To celebrate this tasty annual tradition, you can take a moment to brush up on your cider facts, try a new cider recipe, and visit the exciting cider mill at Robinette’s.

Visit the Cider Mill at Robinette’s

With a cider mill on site where you can watch our professionals make fresh cider, this is the perfect way to celebrate World Cider Day. We offer this starting the Tuesday after Labor Day through April or early May. But if you miss it by a couple of weeks and see us in the off-season, you can buy our cider to bring home and enjoy. That’s because we freeze several extra batches every November to sell throughout the summer.

If you luck out and snag a tour, watch as we take you through the process step by step, treating our cider with a UV light system. Not only does this prevent bacterial contamination, it produces a better-tasting cider than the heat pasteurization process, sans preservatives or additives. The cider we make here will form the starting point for all our apple-based wines and hard ciders.
