This summer is the perfect time to partake in a wine tasting with your best girlfriends. Here at Robinette’s, our tasting room is open anytime the building is open. Only for visitors 21 years of age or older, we offer 26 Michigan-made wines and ciders for you to sample and buy, plus three new ones in cans: Strawberry Basil, Pineapple Citrus, and Apple Cherry. No reservations are needed so come by whenever the mood strikes.
Wine tastings are $9 per person (prices subject to change). For nearly 20 years, Robinette’s has been serving wine to Grand Rapids locals and visitors. Our tastings are the best way to celebrate a birthday, bachelorette party, or just a fun girls’ night out. Grab some friends and check out the winery at Robinette’s for a fun afternoon.
Fruit Wines and Hard Ciders
We make apple fruit wine and hard ciders on site, but we also sell other fine wines made and bottled off-site. They’re sourced from Michigan fruit, too, such as blueberry and cranberry. We also carry chocolate wine for those times when you just need a chocolate fix.
You’ll have a chance to sample more than 20 Michigan-made wines. The cost for the tasting covers a sampling of five wines and a souvenir wine glass you can take home. If you return later on with your glass, you’ll get half off the price of the tasting. Not sure which wines pair best with your favorite foods? Our wine experts are here to explain the origin of all our wines and will personally recommend wines based on your specific flavor preferences.
Along with our selection of wines, we also craft our own hard ciders, available for both tasting and purchase right here at the winery. Our flagship cider, Barzilla’s Brew—named in honor of our founder, Barzilla Robinette—leads the way. Our cider offerings rotate with the seasons, and we love getting creative with flavors (Apple Cherry, anyone?).
