Handprint Apples
Try this adorable craft as a way to teach your child the letter A or as a card to give to a friend or family member.
You will need:
- Cardstock
- Paint
- Paintbrush
- Marker
Directions:
- Paint your child’s hand red, green, or yellow.
- Place their hand down on a piece of white cardstock paper, pressing their entire hand down.
- Let dry and hang.
Ripped Paper Apple Craft
Fun and easy for preschoolers and toddlers, try this fine motor craft this spring.
You will need:
- White cardstock
- Construction paper
- Glue stick
- Markers
- Apple printable
Directions:
- Rip pieces of construction paper into large and small pieces. Your child can choose between red, green, and yellow paper.
- Once ripped, they can glue each piece onto the page.
- Color in the stem and leaf with markers or use colored construction paper to make them.
Toilet Paper Roll Apples
Transform a simple toilet paper roll into a cute apple craft perfect for little kids.
You will need:
- Toilet paper rolls
- Paint
- Paint brush
- Black beans
- Hot glue
- Regular glue
- Cupcake liners
- Cardstock
- 3 small sticks
Directions:
- Paint a toilet paper roll white; allow to dry.
- Glue black beans onto the center of the tube using hot glue (parents should handle this part).
- Add cupcake liners at the top and bottom of the tube with regular school glue.
- Hot glue three small sticks to the back of the cupcake liner, forming the apple stem.
- Add a green leaf made from cardstock and voila!
Pinecone Apples
Combine a love of nature with a love of apples with this fun pinecone apple craft.
You will need:
- Pinecones
- Paint
- Brown and green cardstock
- Glue
Directions:
- Paint the pinecones red, yellow, or green.
- Make a stem and leaf out of the cardstock, adding some glue to the bottom of each.
- Attach them to the top of the pinecones.
