With the new year upon us, it’s time to celebrate fresh beginnings. And what better way to do that than with a wine tasting here at Robinette’s? Our tasting room is open anytime the building is open, for visitors 21 years of age or older. Boasting more than 20 Michigan-made wines and ciders, no reservations are needed to enjoy what we have to offer.
Since 2006, Robinette’s has been serving wine to Grand Rapids locals and visitors, helping them celebrate anything from birthdays and holidays to weddings and girls’ nights out. Wine has a way of bringing people together, so grab a friend or two and head to the winery at Robinette’s for a fun afternoon.
Fruit Wines
We are proud to make a tasty apple fruit wine here on site. We also offer other fine wines sourced from Michigan fruit, too, such as blueberry, cranberry, and cherry. Of course, you can’t leave without trying two of our most popular wines: Chocolate and Passionate Peach Spumante.
You’ll have your choice of sampling more than 20 Michigan-made wines. The cost is just $9 a person, and that price includes a tasting of five wines as well as a souvenir wine glass. If you come back at another time with your glass, you’ll get your wine tasting at half off. Our wine experts are on hand to tell you all about our wines and can make personalized recommendations based on your flavor preferences. We can even tell you which wines pair best with certain foods.

Hard Ciders
In addition to wine, we offer house-made hard ciders for tasting and purchase in our winery. Our original hard cider is Barzilla’s Brew, named after our founder, Barzilla Robinette. While our cider list changes by season, you can bet we love experimenting with new flavors (Apple Cherry, anyone?).
