Winter John Deere

This is Art Bird pushing snow with the old John Deere tractor in the winter of 1952.  Jim Robinette was in Korea at the time, working for Uncle Sam.  Notice the spruce tree by the barn…it is now 30 feet taller than the barn!  The lower level of the barn was used as a garage, the upstairs was full of apple crates and long ladders.
